My name is Libby Timmis, I have kept mini lop rabbits for many years and I became a BRC registered breeder and exhibitor of miniature lop rabbits in 2003. I am based in Worcestershire in the West Midlands. I have an established line of Chocolate Tortoiseshells and also keep some Chocolate Selfs and Sooty Fawns.
I breed my rabbits to improve and develop my own lines for showing and to develop the chocolate tortoiseshell. I have loved the choc torts since I first started breeding them in 2005. I am so pleased they are increasing in popularity. When I first had them, no one knew what they were but now, I see that quite a few people have a choc tort within their stud!My rabbits are housed in large breeding units in a well ventilated shed. I leave the divides removed to allow them the extra space to run about. They are fed a varied diet consisting of plenty of hay, rabbit pellets, dried grass and a variety of fruit and vegetables.
